Your Questions Answered
Find answers to common questions about our Italian language classes.
How do I register for a class?
To enroll, select a class from the schedule. You will be redirected to the course page where you may pay either by using ApplePay, GooglePay or PayPal. If you would like to pay with credit card please click on Paypal where you will have the option to pay with credit or debit card.
If you have never studied Italian before please select one of the “A1.1 Absolute beginner” classes. All other students are encouraged to take our Placement Test.
What is the policy on make-up classes and refunds?
Cancellations
Refunds requested within one week from the first class are 100% refundable, minus the textbook fee ($40).
After the second class we only allow change of levels (upon availability) but there will be no refunds, nor can we give credit for a later semester. We cannot be flexible on this policy, regardless of whether the course is attended or not.
Make-up Classes (not allowed during the first week)
Students who miss a lesson should ask the teacher for the corresponding materials. Each student may make up no more than 1 class per semester. Make-up lessons are available subject to the space in the class they wish to attend. Make-ups are not guaranteed, but are offered according to availability as a courtesy to our students. If a student has missed multiple classes and feels they are struggling to keep up, they are encouraged to book a private catch-up lesson.
In the event of snow or other inclement weather, classes will be held online in accordance with NYC public school directives.
Are materials included in the course fee?
Yes, all necessary materials are included in the course fee. For in-person classes, you will receive the textbook during the first lesson. For online classes, you will receive access to digital resources the week prior to the beginning of classes.
Are there any discounts?
Buy two class, get 10% off:
Students who wish to enroll in two classes in the same term (typically a grammar class and a conversation class) can use the coupon code “SECOND” at checkout to receive a 10% discount on the total order. Please note: this promotion is not valid for levels A1.1 and A1.2, as there are no conversation classes available for these levels.
