To celebrate the Italian American Heritage Month, IACE is sponsoring an exciting competition open to our young students (age 12-18).

The theme of the contest is "Italian through my eyes" What do you see in your mind's eyes when you think about the Italian Language?

The best pictures/drawings will be published on an Italian Newspaper and on the homepage of our website. The prize for the winner will be a full scholarship for IACE 2006 summer program in Italy and free tickets for selected opera performances!

The detailed announcement of the competition will be sent to our teachers (depending on the children's age/grade)

In this issue you will also find the program of IACE professional development workshops, activities and events related to the Italian America Heritage Month.
