Christmas show in Italian

The Students of the St. Luke IACE Centre (coordinated by Damiana Testa), 2 to 16 years old, performed in a beautiful Christmas show at St. Luke Catholic school (Whitestone), entertaining the public in Italian, with Italian 'filastrocche', songs, and an 'Italian Fatina'.

The City School District of New Rochelle is pleased to announce the expansion of their dual language programs in the Children's International Language Academy (CILA) to include English and Italian.

ACLE (Associazione Culturale Linguistica Educational) is a non profit organization (accredited by the Italian Ministry of Education) devoted to the teaching of English as a Second Language.
ACLE would like to offer native English speakers the opportunity to earn and learn as English Tutors at Summer and City Camps (during the summer of 2008, age 19- 29)

Congratulations to the 20 students selected for this summer's study-vacation in Italy!!
The students are participating to an online contest on Progetto Scuole, a portal for the Italian language ( www.progettoscuole.org
), consisting in a multimedia project in Italian with the following title: 'L'Italiano in piazza'.
