IACE wishes each and every one of you an exciting and rewarding scholastic/academic year.

The time has come to bid farewell to our lovely Director Tina Rella.

After almost 20 years of service to IACE she will be retiring. We wish her the best of luck in all her future endeavors.

We will miss you Tina!!..


EVENTS


Summer Program: Settimana della Lingua October 21st 

IACE in collaboration with the Italian Cultural Institute of New York is pleased to invite you to a special event that will be held at the Italian Cultural Institute on October the 21st at 11am.

As part of ‘La Settimana della Lingua’, which is a week dedicated to the international recognition of the Italian Language, the entire day will be dedicated to the students who participated in the IACE Summer Program 2008 in Italy.

The students will meet and interview Amara Lakhous -author of ‘Scontro di civiltà per un ascensore a Piazza Vittorio’ -and Stefano Benni -author of ‘Margherita dolce vita’- two of the most renowned contemporary Italian writers.

Tutti all’opera programma "Prima della Prima"

IACE is proud to offer “Tutti all’Opera” again this year! This program in collaboration with the Dicapo Opera Theater offers you the opportunity to bring your students to the Opera, with special behind-the-scenes tours and special discounted prices (only $20)!

Orientation for IACE Center Coordinators

This year IACE will be giving an IACE center orientation to assist coordinators with the new “Coordinator Packet”. It is an excellent opportunity for coordinators to ask questions, meet other IACE coordinators, share ideas and provide feedback. September 23, 2008
