Congratulations to our teachers who won the 11 IACE scholarships for NECTFL 2007.

Fifty two IACE students had the unique chance to see an amazing Puppet Show : "E vissero per sempre felici e contenti " performed by the National Acclaimed Italian Puppeteer Group "I burattini Cortesi". The event was held at "Casa Italiana Zerilli Marimo" and co-sponsored by Consul Paola Munzi.

by their teacher Dr. Ilaria Costawere immersed into a very "dynamic" and "animated" tour "Il movimento nel Futurismo Italiano ".

"Prima della Prima" is a new IACE initiative to promote opera in a friendly way to students of Italian. After an introductory workshop held by Dr. Carla Viola Tuite, the students were exposed to the magic of Madame Butterfly at New York City Opera.

A day of Music Celebration at Centro Raccontami and IACE Library ! On March 24th the children enchanted the audience singing songs from the new CD " Canzoni per bambini, Vol.II".

This educational project has been co-sponsored through a grant from IACE realized by Dr. Katia Tennyson (AIAE Italian American Educator of the Year 2007) and produced by John Gentry Tennyson (Lollipop Award 2007)
