2007 Summer
camp pictures
In July our little campers learned "everything Italian" in NYC through
dance, drawing, collage and hands-on discovery experiences. After
visiting The Toys Museum, the Garibaldi Statue at Washington Square
Park, Regione Campania and the Chelsea Market they made their own book!

IACE Summer 2007 Italian Classes for Adult
IACE has been offering intensive Italian language and culture classes for Adults
during the summer.
These courses present the Italian language through content-based themes such as
travel, music, art, cinema, fashion and food.

Italian in the park
We read fairytales, books and stories only in Italian to
children of various age. The appointment is every
Tuesday at 4:00 p.m. at Washington Square Park until the
end of August. We hope to see you there! (free for
members)
This program is co-sponsored by Centro Raccontami in
collaboration with the IACE Children's Library

Teachers' training
IACE will offer trainings for teachers of Italian of
extracurricular courses. The training includes hours of
formal training where the teachers will be exposed to
the newest teaching strategies as well as practical
activities for their classes.
The classes will be held at the IACE Childrens' Library
in NY upon request.
