IACE is the official Italian language center in New York, offering the only classes in partnership with the Italian Cultural Institute.

Class Schedule
We offer four sessions a year:
Winter: January – April (10 weeks)
Spring: April – June (10 weeks)
Summer: July, August (4 weeks)
Fall: September – December (10 weeks)

Global Standard
At IACE, our Italian language courses are designed in accordance with the globally recognized Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR), which provides a standard for evaluating an individual’s language proficiency.
To simplify the navigation, please note that A1 corresponds to Elementary, A2 to Lower Intermediate, B1 and B2 to Upper Intermediate, and C to Advanced.

How We Do It
IACE helps students and teachers get the most out of learning the Italian Language from classes to special events and grants.
Italian Professors
All teachers are native speakers, expericened, and graduated in teaching Italian as a second language.
Small Classes
To promote a top learning experience, all our courses have a maximum of 10 students.

General terms and conditions
General terms and conditions
Courses will run with a minimum of 5 students, the maximum number of allowed students is 10. To register, please click on the course in the timetable and use the secure “Enroll” button. You will be redirected to the PayPal site where you may pay for the course either by using your PayPal account or with credit card.
MAKE-UP CLASSES
Students who miss a lesson should ask the teacher for the corresponding materials.
If a student has missed multiple classes and feels they are struggling to keep up, they have the option of taking a private catch-up class.
Students are only allowed one make-up class per session as auditors, subject to the host teacher’s availability.
Cancellation and refunds
Should the student wish to cancel his or her enrollment in a course, the following conditions apply:
If the cancellation is made within 1 week from the start of the course, the student will receive a full refund of the course minus the textbook fee ($40).
Between the 2nd and 3rd week, we apply a 50% carry-over credit for students who choose to discontinue courses in one semester and continue in the following.
After the 3rd week, no refund is possible and no credit will be given, regardless if the course is attended or not.
