School Grants

by Giovanni Toffoli last modified 2008-05-01 21:43

IACE, in collaboration with the Consulate General of Italy in New York, provides incentive funding for schools in the tri-state area who are interested in initiating an Italian program. Grants are based on a matching commitment by the district or by the school, with the expectation that the program will gradually become self-sustaining. Proposals for after-school or Saturday courses may be considered (to know more click on Afterschool Courses).

Those who receive grants may have access to lending material such as books, video, audio, and CD-ROMs. We also offer workshops held by Italian university professors when available.

Activities and hands on progects are fundamental tools in the apprehension of a foreign language. That is why IACE offers all students of Italian in schools affiliated with IACE may  compete for a scholarship to study Italian Italy for 2 weeks !

Please take advantage of this great opportunity and apply for an IACE grant.
