My name is Patrizia Barroero, I was born in Italy and I came to NewYork three years ago.

The first year was not easy, although the city is great and I love living here. I just did not know where to startlooking for a job, and some social life as well.

When I signed up for the teacher's training with IACE to learn how to work with kids, I did not know it was my real vocation yet. Thanks to the people I met there, now, only one year later, not only I work for three different schools, in New Jersey, in Manhattan, and Astoria, but I found my place in this city and I met plenty of people with similar inclinations and interests.

I am also always thrilled to participate to various educational and teacher's development events organized by IACE or posted on their website, because I feel like they are an  important part of my professional life.
