Danilo Gallinari,

Danilo Gallinari, nicknamed "Il Gallo" ("The Rooster"), was born August 8, 1988 in Sant'Angelo Lodigiano, Italy. During the 2007-2008 season, he was named the "Rising Star" at elite Euro-wide Euroleague competition, the first tier level continental cup competition of Europe.

In 2008, he signed a two year contract with the New York Knicks.
