Extracurricular/Afterschool Courses

In the tri-state area of New York, New Jersey and Connecticut, IACE administers several language centers which serve children as young as 18 months old, up to age 17.
From ages 1 ½ to 5 years, classes are conducted in Italian by a teacher who engages children in songs, games, puppet shows and craft activities.
Beginner I Beginner II Intermediate I Intermediate II Students will be able to communicate in most social situations. They will get main facts and ideas from texts such as novels, newspapers, social notices, routine business letters and simple technical material. Advanced At the end of the course students will receive a Certificate of Completion which will enrich their personal portfolio. Special Italian courses in theather, opera, cinema and art, as well as summer courses will be offered upon request. To initiate a new language center for children, click here (Afterschool Grants ).
