(The Horde: Stories, Songs, and Images of Italian emigration)

L’Orda is a multi-media show which presents the fascinating story of Italian emigration from the post-Unification era until the 1970s. Renowned Corriere della Sera journalist Gian Antonio Stella takes the audience on a journey through Europe and the Americas as an old-time storyteller, accompanied by images and songs collected or written by ethnomusicologist Bertelli and performed by the Compagnia delle Acque ensemble with traditional instruments.
An occasion to know a chapter of Italian and American history and culture and to expose students to a live Italian language context.

Price: 10$. Free for teachers.
